How it all started...
East River is a Spirit-filled, life-giving church! We exist in this community to inspire deeper lives, and to bring the love, hope, power and revelation of Jesus Christ wherever we go.
In December, 2001, Pastor Carlos, along with several other vision-minded couples, began East River Fellowship in a small living room. After seeking the Lord, the vision in Ezekiel 47:1-12, where the prophet is shown a river, representative of the Holy Spirit, flowing eastward from under the temple became the foundational Word for East River.
This river displays several unique qualities which speak to the vision of our church. As the river flows it gets deeper, wider, and stronger. Whatever comes into contact with it receives abundant life, flourishes with fruitfulness, and experiences healing.
